Grrlware News #01
Hey, its Grrlware with some general news and announcements regarding Grrlware Games and Super Brawl Showdown!
Official Grrlware Website
I have currently been working on an official Grrlware website. It will be up by the end of the year, and will be where I will start featuring bigger updates and more in-depth looks at SBSD content, as well as content featuring my other games. I hope to see you there soon.
Patreon Page + SBSD Funding
Just recently, I announced in the official Discord Sever and on Youtube, that we will be opening up a Patreon account to help support the game. Not only will this help pay the new members of the development team, but this will also be used to help expand the game.
The official Grrlware Patreon Page is now open!
Here we will be using the funds raised through Patreon to give support to our development team, and save up to hire more people (such as 3D char animators, voice acting, announcer lines, multiplayer severs, etc). Here you can play a little monthly fee to help support the game and allow us to make it the best it can be!
AND!! as a supporter, you will get your name in the credits, in-addition to plenty of other goodies exclusive to patreon members-- such as voting in polls deciding what content gets in the game, access to a channel with the developer team and exclusive behind the scenes content, are able to provide more input on what you'd like to see developed in the future, as well as content on patreon, bragging rights, and much much more! You can also see posts about some of my other work (including bits of a very old webcomic) if that strikes your fancy.

Thank you for listening, and I hope you will help support the team in our endeavors. :)
If we reach $15 a month on Patreon, online multiplayer will become the main priority for the next addition to the game!
Update Trailers + Changelogs
Some of you have been asking me about the lack of update trailers, as well as changelogs. This recent period of my life has been pretty hectic, and I haven't had the additional time it requires to put together a nice trailer or compile a changelog. For that, I apologize. I plan to release a larger video encompassing the changes in 0.3.0, as well as the future update of 0.3.1, in an effort to show how far the game has come and to show off new content. There was a significant amount that was cut from 0.3.0 that will be added in 0.3.1, so I hope you will stay tuned for the upcoming trailer.
Fighter trailers and fighter reveals are lower priority, but will definitely be making a return as well.
Future Patches
Unfortunately, the schedule of recent development has not been great, and there weren't a lot of opportunities to run a playtest build by the playtesters before release for 0.3.0 or 0.3.0b.
Thankfully, I have been working on making the game easier to update, and trying to develop an auto-updating system. Because of this, I may be dropping patches for SBSD more frequently, so that bugs do not get stuck being dealt with in-between larger updates. Hopefully this will remove a deal of frustration regarding bugs; as well as setting up a better development schedule for playtesting.
